"MR. EXCITEMENT" FIFTH IN CMH SHOWDOWN AT WHEATLAND!

July 21, 2008 --- Terry Casey and his #42 Dirt Late Model team traveled to Illinois and Missouri over the July 18-19 weekend for two more Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series races. At the Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois on Friday night, July 18, Terry finished third in his heat race before winding up thirteenth in the final rundown of the 'Budweiser 50.' The cameras of the SPEED Channel were on hand at Granite City to tape the $10,000 to win event for broadcast later in the year.

The dirt-slinging action quickly turned to the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri on Saturday for another $10,000 to win show. Terry ran a strong second in his heat race and later rolled off from the inside of the fourth row for the 50-lap 'CMH Showdown.' The driver known as "Mr. Excitement" ran amongst the leaders the entire race and settled for a solid fifth place performance behind winner Bart Hartman, Earl Pearson, Jr., Brian Birkhofer, and Terry Phillips. CASEY NOTCHES PAIR OF TOP FIVES IN DEEP SOUTH!

July 14, 2008 --- The Casey / Arnie Ranta Motorsports team, with Terry Casey behind the wheel of their #42 C.J. Rayburn entry, had a great weekend on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series trail on July 11-12 in the Deep South. The North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama hosted night one of the doubleheader weekend on Friday, July 11. Terry won his heat race in preliminary action at NAS and wound up a strong fourth in the final rundown of the $7,000 to win main event behind winner Freddy Smith, Earl Pearson, Jr., and Bart Hartman.

The weekend wrapped up for the #42 team at the Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on Saturday evening, July 12 with a $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event. The cameras of the SPEED Channel were on hand at the "Baddest Bullring in the South" to tape all of the wheel-to-wheel action for broadcast later in the year. Terry finished fourth in his competitive heat race and later passed seven cars during the 50-lap A-Main to record an impressive fifth place performance behind winner Scott Bloomquist, Billy Moyer, Jimmy Owens, and Chris Wall. The driver known as "Mr. Excitement" left the Deep South seventh in the latest version of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series point standings. TERRY CASEY ENJOYS BUSY 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND!

July 7, 2008 --- Terry Casey and his #42 Dirt Late Model team invaded the states of Ohio and Tennessee over their 4th of July holiday weekend, as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned a trio of events. Up first for the Casey / Arnie Ranta Motorsports team was a $10,000 to win event at the Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio on Thursday night, July 3. Terry ran fourth in his heat race to earn the outside seventh row starting spot for the 50-lap main event. The New London, Wisconsin native then rocketed his way past twelve cars to take the point on lap sixteen. He paced the field for fourteen laps until Dan Schlieper got back by for the lead on lap thirty-one. The driver known as "Mr. Excitement" settled for a strong runner-up performance behind Schlieper in the annual 'Crenos 50.'

The wheel-to-wheel action then turned south to the Volunteer State of Tennessee on Saturday and Sunday, July 5-6, as the Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee and the Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennesssee played host to two more $10,000 to win shows. At "The Gap" on Saturday night, Terry suffered problems all night long and could not find his way into the A-Main. Things got better for the #42 team on Sunday at "The Taz," as Terry finished second in his heat race before notching an eighth place effort in the 75-lap feature event. He currently finds himself in the eighth position in the latest version of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series point standings and leading the Rookie of the Year point battle. CASEY BACK IN ACTION THIS WEEKEND IN OHIO AND TENNESSEE!!!

July 3, 2008 --- Following a rare weekend off from Dirt Late Model competition, Terry Casey and the Casey / Arnie Ranta Motorsports team will return to action in a big way this weekend! The #42 team will jump back on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series trail this upcoming weekend, as the series hosts a trio of races in Ohio and Tennessee. A tripleheader weekend consisting of three $10,000 to win events will be held at the Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio (July 3), the Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee (July 4), and the Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee (July 5).
